No secret ingredients at Baghis, no new technology either, just quality ingredients and a lot of passion for things done well. All our products are made with fresh natural yeast (sourdough), stone-milled flour from Italian wheat, free range fresh eggs (no GMO) and high-quality raw materials. We don’t use any preservatives or additives. Rising lasts from 50 to 60 hours. All of our products are handmade.
Torchiatone kept in packs of 600 grammes. A simple but elegant package that fully represents the craftsmanship with which it is prepared.

"Baked-in-a-jar packaging shows the gorgeous saffron colour with juicy looking fruit. There is a tinge of alcohol on the nose. A lovely soft moist texture, and a beautiful developing pattern of flavours with alcohol coming through at the end, not too sweet. One judge said he would stock it in his shop in a second! Table 1: We agree - delicious moist fruit, perfectly judged alcohol, a very appealing consistency and a clever quirky presentation. A gorgeous product - we all wanted more....."
The use of purely natural and quality ingredients such as: stone-ground flour, natural yeast "sourdough" Belgian butter, sugar, free range fresh egg yolks, Australian raisins, Passito dei Colli di Conegliano DOCG Torchiato sweet wine, salt, vanilla pods (Tahiti Bora Bora Grand Cru from bean), reaches a result, which is simply amazing!
No artificial coloring and preservatives.
The leavening process takes from 50 to 60 hours.
Contain alcohol (wine 14%). May contain traces of nuts. Store in a cool dry place.
