Wines from Trentino

Wines from Trentino: Trentino is the southernmost province of the Trentino-Alto Adige region in the north of Italy. With its capital Trento, this is the culturally Italian portion of the region. Alto Adige is to its north, some call it Sudtirol, and is mostly German-speaking, long considered part of Austria, which is now on its northern border.

While not as mountainous as Alto-Adige, the climate and scenery in Trentino are still largely influenced by the Alps, which form a rain shadow over the valley. This creates a warm and dry microclimate, with mountain breezes cooling the vineyards down at night, and various lakes and the Adige river providing irrigation.

We at Agrumia want to offer you some of the best wines Trentino Alto Adige can offer: Teroldego Rotaliano, Pinot Nero, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Marzemino, Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Muller Thurgau, Pinot Bianco, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Trebbiano and Garganega.
